What do you think would happen if we encouraged our children to fight for what’s right to protect themselves?  My children, just like yours, are definitely one of God’s greatest blessings.  In our home, we are raising a generation of Kingdom warriors equipped for success.  One of the ways we do that is speaking what we want out of them and encouraging them to be leaders for good.   My best friend today shared how her 8 year old son attending a christian school was tempted by a classmate to look at a porn magazine.  Do you know what this little boy did?  He stood up, pushed the kid down and said, “Don’t you ever show me that stuff.  I will fight for the purity of my heart.”  HOORAY for POSITIVE PEER PRESSURE!! Encourage your kids to stand up and fight for what is right!!  What if kids started responding that way when first exposed to drugs or alcohol as well?  We could make such a difference in schools and brighter futures for the next generation. What legacy are we leaving behind?  “Stand for something or you’ll fall for anything!”  Have a talk with your kids today and prepare them how to respond and that it’s OK to fight to protect your heart. What do you think would happen if we encouraged our children to fight for what’s right to protect themselves?
