I woke up this morning thinking about yesterday.
Full force taking the stage and crushing free will.
Force is not of God.
God is freedom.
“Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 2:17
How do we navigate this?
How do we pray?
What do we pray?
First, it is vital to acknowledge YOU were born for this time. God placed your spirit in your body to be alive on this planet for such a time as this.
Second, Get alone with God.
There is a lot of noise. Noise can cause panic and confusion. God is not the author of confusion.
Jesus is the prince of PEACE.
Where is the peace?
Peace does not mean “easy.”
Peace is an underlying confidence in Jesus in the midst of adversity. All throughout the Bible, those used by God faced insane trials, persecution and adversity, but they were doing what God called them to do.
Third, be Spirit led. What does this mean?
It means allowing God to lead -Not you. The apostle Paul said he had to die daily to his flesh. The flesh wants easy. The flesh wants pleasure, but this doesn’t provide ultimate peace, and it doesn’t fulfill what God has called you to do. You do have a calling. God desires to lead you, to know you, to have an intimate relationship with you, so that you can walk out what He desires you to do.
In the future I will speak more on being filled with the Holy Spirit, because this shuts out the noise and directly connects you to the Father’s heart.
Fourth, know that being obedient to God is what matters more than anything. Look around you, what you see will fade. It’s temporary. God is eternal. Your spirit is eternal. Live for Him.
Run the race. Finish strong. ??
