For years, my advice to my girlfriends complaining about their husband/marriage, was and still is this:

I tell her,

“no matter what happens,

You have to live with YOU the rest of your life so the way to win is to work on yourself and maybe it will save the marriage and maybe it will not.

Either way,

YOU WIN!!”
