“Make the work harder for the men so that they keep working and pay no attention to the lies.” -Pharaoh, Exodus 5:9

How do you tell an enslaved person that there is more? How do you get someone to leave their meager portion for an existence flowing with milk and honey? How do you convince a person that they are being lied to that wants to believe the lies? How do you get people to dream again? How do you get people to stop being a victim? How do you convince them of promises of provision and prosperity when they have embraced lack as their norm?

What if we have been enslaved all this time but never really knew it because we were all working so hard to survive?

What if there is an invitation from heaven for more? What if God has promised us deliverance if we only trust God and walk away from our slave masters? What if we get sick of not being allowed to worship our God the way we want?

These are questions that have been asked many times before in history and if people turn to God, they are always proceeded by seasons of great freedom and prosperity for those that dared to entertain such questions.
