Ricardo and Valerie Acosta Ricardo left his beautiful country of Venezuela at the age of 17 to come to the land of the free. It was a rude awakening to realize how sheltered his life had been. He didn’t know how to take out the garbage, balance a checkbook or change oil on a car. He also had no idea what “E”on the gas tank meant. His parents would be so proud of him today; he went on to open his own Salsa Club and currently he is the Admissions Officer for Northwood University. He is also a student at Northwood pursuing his Business degree. He met his beautiful wife in East Lansing, ly to discover they were from the same exact city in Venezuela. They started their business in May, 2010.
